Overview

The most common type of failure in an electrical power distribution network is a single-phase-to-earth fault. Many utilities are successfully mitigating the effects of this type of fault by the use of earth fault compensation systems. In this scheme, the system neutral is earthed through a high impedance reactor, a so called arc suppression coil which is adjusted to the earth capacitance to the network.

MRD-XHP Arc-Suppression Coil with magnetic bias Compensation Device employs standard industrial computer system, bus-organization, multilayer PCB and full-color LCD screen to provide system with stable operation, visual display, strong anti-interference capability, perfect parameter settings and information query function.

Compared with MRD-XHZ ASC Complete Device, MRD-XHP Arc-Suppression Coil with magnetic bias Compensation Device adopts following setting mode and is without damping resistance.

2.       With full-color LCD screen, the running state, system capacitive current, neutral voltage, neutral current, out-of-resonance degree, residual current and fault-times of single-phase can be displayed, set and inquired conveniently

3.       The device has a wide adjusting range and can be adjusted between its rated current accurately and quickly.

4.       Embedded high voltage grounding line selection module employs residual incremental method and active power method making the line selection accurately and quickly

5.       Equipped with RS232 and RS485 communication interface, our product can communicate with supervising computer to achieve signal teleportation

6.       Our product can realize acoustic alarm of single-phase earth fault

7.       Equipped with standard parallel printer, our product can finish data printing and ground information printing

8.       Our product possess one system controlling two sets device function, namely, two sets of arc suppression coil in the same system can transform automatically along with the system operation

9.  The operation mode of damping resistance in the Arc suppression coil parallel connection can be controlled simultaneously (optional)

6.       Micro-computer controller screen is to be installed in master control of the station. Grounding transformer, ASC device and damping resistor are to be installed outdoor or indoor with good ventilation

Attention!

Please ensure good grounding system of the device and make different access to the ground network for the cabinet and the device. In dry areas, the ground network resistance should be measured regularly to make sure the ground resistance less than 4Ω to prevent burning loss.
